Oh, you thought Selling the OC’s drama was limited to your TV screen? Then you really don’t know Alex Hall, one of the main players at The Oppenheim Group’s Orange County office. Season 4 of the Netflix reality series dropped last month, outlining major developments in Alex’s ongoing relationship drama with her ex, Tyler Stanaland, and infidelity allegations they faced when he was with his ex-wife, Brittany Snow.
In the latest season, Alex and Tyler had an emotional conversation that seemed to give them both closure—that is, until Tyler announced his wedding to Hannah Morrissey in a People magazine exclusive published on December 4. Naturally, fans have been holding out for Alex’s reaction to the wedding, which she provided in an interview with TMZ.
“I genuinely want nothing but the best for him and want him to find happiness, and it seems like he has,” she told the outlet, adding that she knew people would turn toward her for a reaction (especially given her own recent breakup with Ian Young).
“To an outside perspective, people might be thinking sirens are going off because of his elopement,” she continued. “But I’m not here to judge because I also have done crazy things and am spontaneous,” she continued.
She concluded with, “I just hope she doesn’t get hurt by him and that he isn’t repeating old patterns like he did with his ex-wife and with me,” referencing her ex’s past romances with herself and The Hunting Wives actor.
On the flip side, Tyler could only gush about his nuptials with People, which went down in late November on Laguna Beach. “The wedding and getting to marry my best friend was an absolute dream come true in every way,” he told the outlet. “It was fun and intimate and intentional and about all the things it should be—two families becoming one and a celebration of love.”
